my brother krammeh has a server and it keeps going wrong

everyone lags and stops moving completely if restart race everyone goes to the start line but no one can see each other.

no one can enter the server just gets stuck on waiting for guest info, then comes up with a error message saying lost connection to host.

the server is on a linix machine using wine

please help

We've had this recurring issue with nothing commonly triggering it that we can find, but eventually after 45 minutes to 3~4 hours, it "lags" out.

Everything is still working, but players appear under "lag X.XX Seconds" tags, that never vanish with anything short of a complete server reset..

Just for a bit of server background info,

we're running

2.80 Ghz Intel
512 DDR
Linux ( Redhat Fedora 6 ).
So, Using wine, can't remember which version it is.

Hope this issue can be resolved, don't fancy paying for a Windows Server as well as my linux server!
