Is it possible to use a script to set an F12 setting? Executable with one keystoke or a button, for example to change Fuel load at pit stop to a certain %? Instead of arrow keying through the F12 menu while trying to race?
If you've got a logitech wheel you can use the Logitech Profiler to assign a series of commands to a button, so you could set F12, down arrow, down arrow, right arrow etc etc then F10 again as required. A bit fiddly though as you may need a button press to execute each command (but maybe not - worth checking).
The profiler lets you put in series of commands, again IIRC, so say to change the Front Roll bar up you could enter something similar to -
-Begin Recording-
F11
Down Arrow
Right Arrow
Up Arrow (to return to default position)
F11
-End Recording-
The key would just to be sure the sequence begins in the right spot, as if it got mixed up you could end up setting you brake bias 100% rearword..
I quit using the Logitech profiler some time ago. I suppose I could start using it again.
I do have a nostromo n52, maybe I can do something with that. I already use it to bring upi the f11, f12 menus and use the thumb pad to arrow thru, just thought a script would be quicker and less error prone.
I've searched the forum and saw some of the scripts, but couldn't see how to do what I want.
