well, i use a joystick, and a program to configure it

I have an joystick too.

1) it has no plate.

2) when you move it and let it go it comes in the middle again.

BTW : witch joystick are you using?

i took out the springs that keep the stick in the middle

Is it possible to make it a H shifter?

Act Labs shifter is probably the cheapest H-shifter if you don't want to make yourself one or use a FF joystick.

do NOT buy from UKForumla.com, they are WAY overpriced (100% price increase on a DFP etc)

A mate just sold his for about £30 and yet they are selling them for £70!

First of all i want to try my joystick as an H shifter..

But i got some problem here with Virtual H shifter

it wont execute the exe file (too bad)

im trying to fix the problem so i download .Net framework 2.0
and now im donwloading VB runtime 6.

so ill edit this post if it works or not

DFP maybe overpriced, but those Act Labs shifters and pedals are much much cheaper than ordering from the US. For example Act Labs pedals shipped to Finland would be total of ~200€ from the US and from UKFormula only ~140€. You have to pay taxes and toll fees when ordering from outside of EU. It's a specialty shop and you can't get those stuff from anywhere else in Europe.
Sure, you may get stuff cheaper from ebay or something, but used != new and you can't compare them like that.

Damn... Virtual H shifter did not work..

And FFshifter does not find my Joystick (only my wheel)

You need to do some work to your joystick if it hasn´t got Force Feedback to stay at the gears. The one I said (wich I use) have FF and the only thing I had to do was adding a knob, the program FFShifter does the rest. With a second pedal set is fantastic

Tomorrow im going to buy the new Sidewinder joystick with FF.

(How could i be so stupid? I didnt notice that FFshifter was only for joysticks with Forcefeedback .

shifter, 3 pedals, 180° turning from the wheel
works like a charm
