Quote from Bladerunner :3 seconds to get out of my chair and move it
15 seconds to dig my way under my desk
120 seconds to figure out which of the 8 USB plugs is my wheel
1/2 second to pull it out
30 seconds to extricate myself from under my desk
2 hours for my back pain to subside,

before recommencing procedure in reverse to plug it back in

You could of course spend £1 on a usb-extension-cable, which would solve all that problem

Tried SA:MP tonight, on an official server. Quite fun except some very weird things went on. Like opponents camping where we spawn and could not be killed by us no matter how many shells we pumped into him with our double barrelled shotguns. Jeeps took off into the air, straight up. Not laggy, but rather slow and smooth.

I managed to sneak into one of the jeeps as it was taking off and it started to hover the streets a couple of feet up in the air. I was definitely in the driver position, the front wheels were responding to my input, but the vehicle didn't.

Funny stuff!

Edit: Well no. I've had enough of the cheating now.
meh, my computer runs it perfectly, but i can't play online. >:-(

Ok, how do you have a WAY better than mine proc/mobo/GFX card, but have an 80gig and 256MB or ram when i have a gig? Do you own a dell?

BTW: I'm getting a new comp very soon.
SA-MP version 0.2 came out about a week ago. I love the rain and the ability to add objects to the maps like what is being developed on MTA: DM. I used to play SA-MP all the time before i came to LFS.

Or, Device Mangler -> right click on the wheel device and disable it while you play...
Looks cool, might grab a copy of GTA SA for PC some time.
