I swear, it happened, :hide:

I've done my homework, but thanks for trying....

Anyway, yes, this kid can write, can't he? Started a little bit of writing myself the other day,
just how I came to be around cars... maybe I'll post it later?
Feel free to post some bits and pieces. I always enjoy reading automotive writing. I read alot of Car And Driver, and such. It's a real joy when I can't get behind the wheel.

im 12, nearly 13, i just love diving my brothers S13 Silvia in an airstrip, the boost kicks in on 1.05 bar, i just go WHOOOOOSH...i can believe the feeling...and when i go go - karting, the fast rotax ones, dam....i hate those lucky adults i just want MMORE!!!!!!
Okay I'll draw the line. I thought 14 now 15 was bad behind the wheel. But 12, Jesus, you better hope your brother has some damn good insurance and even better lawyers...

lol, in an AIRFIELD! lol...although somehow i crashed in a wheelie bin lol
Here's a driving tip. (Applies to the question, "there is only ONE lightpost in the parking lot, how the HELL did you hit it?")

When you drive, try to look where you WANT to go, and not where you're going, that way, you wont automaticaly zone in on an object and subconciously TRY to hit it...
Pff. That's what you get for gaming on a console, PC GAMING FTW!!!

thats a good video, i remember seeing it a time ago
argh, its not fair, in Canada and USA, you are allowed to get your driving licence at 14/15? In Ireland, you get a provisional licence (meaning you can drive, but with a full licence holder in the car) and then you get a full licence at 18, but, you have to wait ages to get one because Ireland is a stupid country. (i bet some americans will say they are irish )
Here in Canada you can get your G1 at 16. That gives you ability to drive insured vehicles with a fully licensed driver (Person with G2 for four years)

After a year of your G1 you can apply for your G2 test and once passing the written and driving test, you are granted a G2 license, with hardly any restrictions, after four years you are automatically granted a full G, no limits at all.
PS. This is Ontario, I'm not sure about other provinces.

Bit late but what the heck...

I think what you are feeling is a very familiar feeling... I felt it eons ago when I got my first motorbike.... mmmmmmm it was love... fast was never fast enough...

Let me make a suggestion, if none have already. Seems to me, you are a born racing driver... and it sounds like something you really need to start thinking toward... save up, get a kart and start racing... if u hang on to that feeling... it might just be ur kids at school wishing they were you when they see u on tv... If you stay on the right road, and don't get tempted by others or yourself to take the wrong path, it might just be your future... its your choice... I wonder what you'll pick.

Good luck.

Well you're definitely on the right track, just remember to keep it cool when you get your license. One hint though, never ever shut off a turbo engine after heavy driving (the airstrip text.. I hope you didn't shut the engine instantly after that). Wish I'd get a chance to try a supra someday.
