I have a problem. I can make movies with FRAPS of any game I play, included a lot of games that requieres a faster computer than LFS like Splinter Cell: Double Agent playing with all eye candy settings and fraps can record at 30fps. Why LFS only record at 11fps? I read the tutorial on this page but it says that have to play LFS at 0.5x speed, and if I make this, the sound doesn´t record properly. How can I make smooth videos with sound of LFS?

PD: I play LFS with all max quality settings, aa8x and aniso to 16x

My specs are lower than yours and I can get decent FPS.

Tips:
-16 bit colour
-Lower resolutions
-Set FRAPS and LFS to lower FPS.

If you're going to record at full speed with sound, you'll want a high FPS, so lower the resoulution and detail if you need to.
For slo-mo, set LFS and FRAPS to lower FPS and record at .125 or .250 speed. You can then play with the frame rates in Virtual Dub later on.

Play with the settings and eventually, you'll find a good compromise.

The only other thing I can think of is AA. Mt card can only do 4x.
Maybe higher levels hammers frame rates.

Well, I tryied to record movies only downgrading to 16bits and now is perfect.
