Wheel not straight warning message
I find that when I use high degrees of rotation on my DFP I can end up with the wheel seemingly straight but actually a full lock one way on the starting grid. When starting the race on full lock it tends to be rather messy.

So my suggestion is some kind of warning message if you're lined up on grid but the wheel is significantly off centre.
how about turning the wheel yourself ? youd quickly notice somethings wrong

The suggestion is that LFS points out your wheel isn't pointing straight so you can correct it yourself before the lights go green, when you dump the clutch with full lock on in front of a full grid it's a bit late to do anything about it.
then turn the wheel while the lights are red to see if youre at the lock ?
theres plenty of time before the green light to turn the wheel side to side and find out if the wheels are straight
you don´t need really need such a message, do you?
Then push "f" and check.

The thing is checking whether my wheels straight is the last thing on my mind and given the very short light sequences in LFS until these recent test patches I've given up on the old GPL habit of moving the wheel full lock to lock to ensure calibration on the starting grid. I know it sounds silly but it wouldn't really be much to add or have any real disadvantage just the huge advantage of avoided pile ups which starting with lock on usually causes.
enable arms in the cockpit then ... youll immediately notice somethings not right without even looking

also if your wheel is set up properly (720 in the driver) you merely need to wiggle it a slight bit to see theres no ffb stop anywhere near
We could go on like this, I know there are ways to check for it but pre-start I don't usually think about them. Whilst it shouldn't happen on occassion it does so my suggestion was a way to prevent it, not essential but something that could be added with no real cost to performance.
i have the special view enabled, as you turn the wheel the driver kinda looks to the sides. So, when I am sitting at the grid and my wheel is screwy, it has the view cocked to one side, lol.
