Can anyone tell me if these are good for PC?

I hope these work thats why im asking for your guys help before I go and spend money on something that wont work for pc (I dont have a 360)

The logitech would probably have better PC support than anything else.

Wrong section, but get a Logitech DFP if you don't have an Xbox 360, it's basically designed for PC anyway.

I dont want anyother wheels besides those..i can get them for cheap, I just want to know which ones better for PC if they work with them?

does the 360 support ffb ? the original xbox didnt which makes all xbox wheels pretty much useless for pc use

yes, that MS's own 360 wireless (toy) wheel has FFB.

360 doesn't support any other (decent) wheels though, which nicely bans the competition

Buy that one for 360. It's best from the rest of the bunch. But it's still a kinda "toy" compared to Logitech G25.

PC wheels does not work on 360 (read: Microsoft does not want to support them, because Microsoft wants to sell it's own brand wheel). About that 360 wheel supporting PC, I don't know.

edit: in the 1st post you say you don't have Xbox 360? So why you want to buy 360 wheel?

Because their cheaper.....And i have heard people saying they use a 360 controller..so i thought a wheel might work..

Buy DFP (Driving Force Pro) for PC. Or Logitech G25 if you can afford. Both are 10x better than any 360 wheel. DFP is also pretty cheap.

not a single fault in my momo black and if you do buy one check if its REV.B cause thats the better sturdier one but had one back ago which was a rev.A and boy it was a pain but i would suggest one though it comes as an all rounder after the dfp and i will buy a g25 maybe next year or so

hey jakg can i ask u something what happened to your old broken g25? what was wrong with it?

the steering stop being recognized - as you turned the wheel from calibrating it, the centrepoint moved , so once you hit full lock, it thought it was centred, making it only useful for turning left.

Oh wait, maybe i shoulda sold it to one of the FM guys :P

I see nothing wrong with getting a momo. my rev A is working fine exept for the centering problem.

i believe it is also. the other wheels available only have rumble, not true ffb. although, apparently the API for the wheels has been released by MS, so 3rd party wheels with ffb should start showing up later this year or early next year, i'd guess.

also, if you get the $130us MS 360 wheel, you'd also need the wireless game ($30us) adapter for it to work with your PC. for that price you could have a DFP or a momo.

i've got both the g25 and the MS 360 wheel, and while the MS wheel
is a decent wheel, it is definitely not the best solution for use on a PC, unless you had both a 360 and pc and only wanted 1 wheel set. that's pretty much the only time i'd recommend the MS 360 wheel for the PC.

thought it was worth mentioning i have a joytech nitro lying around and having spotted this post gave it a spin..

loads using the common controller drivers for XInput, and as such works fine except you will get no rumble/feedback effects at all, and this will be the same with any true xbox 360 wheel at the moment. there is talk of more FFB wheels being released, but as of now only the microsoft one will do anything
