Well, I don't believe that it is the end of the world. Rather the start of a new cycle.

I don't believe It too, but I wanna see if something really happens... and I wanna see how does Jaime Maussan reacts [Look at him] (This dude is really crazy about this thing, I think He's an alien hahahaha).
LOL ROFL and whatever...
I wanted to "quote" a bunch of y'alls posts but I don't know how.
Anyways here's my take on how "advanced" the mayans were.
Oh. first off, the Spaniards, the Vatican and even the USA didn't take their gold. The Mayans faded before Columbus was even born. That's the Aztecs you're thinking of. and if you read more on them, you'll really not feel sorry for them. Some people think they are a descended culture from the mayans, but there is quite a bit of evidence that suggests they migrated into the area and scavenged what was left of the mayans.

The Mayans were so smart that they felt the need to sacrifice their best and brightest to the gods. Yeah, that pretty much shot out the gene pool.
so in their final days they were really just a bunch of simpletons just going off of past developments.
Even though they knew about circles, they never used the wheel. They knew when a star was going to be where at just about any given time, yet didn't know squat about animal husbandry.... go figure.

And for being more advanced than NASA? Please that's a no brainer. These morons spend over $400 for a screwdriver. They spent megabucks on a "study" to see which type of paint would be suitable for the yellow stripes directing the way to restrooms and water fountains. How they manage to get things off the ground and much less into orbit defies logic. Any half-wit ancient culture that knew how to add 2 +2 should be more mathematically accurate than those clowns.
