Just a quick thread to see if anybody has any ideas for what to do next.. what will improve the ATC 60 Lap GP's. i am aware they need to become more regular. but would like some imput.

How about a variety of cars?

Aston Club, XFR, 60 laps, one lap qualifying.

I have had a good time in all the 60 lappers I have done, so not much to improve on in my eyes....other than a diffrent car.

So, my suggestion would be, keep it the same....but change the car.

blackwood tbo class? 1:25.xx per laps (24's are do-able too) works out about 75mins

I rekon FOX at Aston Club, the tiny fuel tank on the FOX will make it an interesting race. Although that would cut down the numbers entering I expect, so perhaps just stick to the format thats been so good, XFR/UFR. I would like to see us give Aston Club Reversed a good race, its a tricky track to master

aston was only done once, we also did south city long reverse, fe green reverse. ky nat rev and loads of other tracks. but you wouldn't notice because you "don't even do these things".

Im 100 % sure that there were 2 60 lap GPs on AS Club. And wasnt there also one on AS National?

in the 3 years (or so) of the 60 lap gp's i wouldn't call two visits to aston "always aston". would you?

Then it dont really matter Jakq. Those who do these ATC races will normally do whatever goes, why? Because its a good non-series experience.

actually if i remember correctly. National got scrapped.

Good! there should be more of us!! I think its cos its considered normal that an ATC server runs XFR Aston Club.. Which I cant get enough of

I think FZ5 round SO Long would be good fun. Tricky car to get to drive right then at a track like SO Long, real challenge IMO.

I think there has been 2 at Aston Club, I won one of them but I don't think I took part in the 2nd one. If you were to complain then you should take a look back in time, we used to run it on S2 demo using only the xrg/Blackwood GP...not even reversed. When S2 came out the first 60 lap GP was the FO8 on KY National Reversed (i think) and it was called off after only about 7 laps because everyone spun the car and quit. Then we switched to the XFR/UFR and have never looked back.

I would like a TBO one at Blackwood, or maybe even a RAC/LX6/FZ5 one at KY National. Those 2 combo's have been great fun during testing for patch X. But stick to what you know and keep it simple, thats why the 60 lap GP's are nearly always full.

I would love to see what happens if we ran a track like Aston Cadet

ok i have myself tonight been racing the RB4 at Blackwood (and am proud to say pushed jakg off the track on the first chicane.... his own fault though )

It was alot of fun. So the next race will be the TBO Class cars..

Track to be decided. so please. post your recommendations based on it being the TBO class

I think FE Black would be a good circuit,long track with a wide variety of cornor's to overtake on

Aston North.

Hopefully we'll have patch X by then and the FXOs won't have a three minute per lap advantage...

Fern Bay Gold, TBO class rocks there.

Fern Bay Gold (or Rev) would suit me. Havent driven the FXO in a while competitivly, but RB4 would suit me also.
