Right, today Niko made a cool vid of us and this drift dude do some UFR crashes on drag strip. I watched it, then realised I've never skinned the UFR for myself (actualy I've only ever skinned it once and that was that MINI~UK request :tilt.

So, using the paint scheme I've been using default, I'm gonna make a racey skin over it, but still keeping that colour scheme.

Its just now, I'm stumped for ideas, I'll proabably make some decals to go on it, but I want a catchey design

Anyway, I attached what we have to work with Throw some ideas at me!

Well, that UF GTR text looks kinda neat. You could try making that huge and but it on the side in a small angle.

so its just stock blue and black ? try making the hood and side bumpers cf and then do a quick paint job

Well I tried what you said about the text on the side, and I tried not to overlap the wide arches or cut anything off, and I quite like it

It looks kinda lonely on its own, might try a number on the door in the same style See, one idea sparks a thousand, thats exactly what I wanted!

Something like ribbons would go with that quite well.
The text could be even larger I think.

The hood being CF is a bad idea I found, the weave doesnt line up, and its a b***h to sort out

You know, ribbon. It might be hard to do so it looks alive with nice shadowing though, but if you had the software you might be able to pull it off.

You could try some chequered patterns, maybe fade them to blue.

Hm.. lose the fuelcap.. waaayy too big

As LFSn00b said, an checkered roof would look nice.. or checkered ribbon like Blackout proposed

I cant for the life of me make a decent ribbon, so I'm going with the checks. Just trying out some sizes and I'll post a preview. Fuel caps gone too

LFSn00b - Theres already a grey outline around it, black made them stand out a bit too much for my liking ;-)

I just want to mention, I recently got sent a new GFX card (thanks Dom ^_^), and so I no longer have AA although I can go on Patch X without problems when it arrives just saying y'know.

its do's , use free transform in your skinning programe to sort it out
