The 8-series have slightly better image quality, but raw power for AA make much more difference.

To all your people who think that your 7900GT is giving you the best image quality with 0xAA...

This picture is using a texture mod on the forum (somewhere!), hi-res skins and 16xAA, and although it cranked out a... playable FPS with those few cares your better with something like 4x/8xAA as if you've got a 7900GT or similar you can crank out that at a playable FPS

You get the most angularly invariant AF ever.

not really.The ATI X19xx series has much better anisotropic filtering then NVIDIA 7xxx series.The 8800 series is absolut winner over the all cards on the market though.
