Try to drive with the mouse or with a wheel !!!
I play LFS one year, first time with keyboard (14 days), than with mouse (5 days, but i can´t drive with mouse !!!). With Wheel i was 10 seconds faster and you must train and train and train, so you will be faster and faster !!!
After two weeks you are never on your limit !!!

@Cr!t!calDrift sorry to admit it but 1:28 is poor. After watching world record replays I quickly got 1:27s and then with not much more practive I cracked 1:26s, to get 1:25 took a lot more practice. You should be at least able to do consistant 1:26s.

Trust me, there are plenty of others who cant crack 1:45 (demo racers)

And I know that 1:28 is poor, but that doesn't mean that Keyboard is horrible.

Plus, can you link me to some WR replays?

i can get 1:25's with keys, im usually average/middle pack or near the top end when i race, unless its single seaters which is when i get the wheel out!

goto http://www.lfsworld.net/ then click on "S2 Hotlaps" then click on "WR's" then click on the time and it will download the replay
