hey im running an event for some friends
over lan,

here is what i want to do

admin from one computer (not connected to wheel)
have them all race on other computer (with a wheel connected)

i want to be able to change names
so they can see who is winning on laptimes

any ideas?

i have just be getting them to do a lap in single player and then writing it by hand on a piece of paper

Giving one go and comparing lap times on one or multiple tracks? Like rally stages?

I have such a thing in VCom (stage rally tool). You can add the stages (tracks) and racers. In the end you can compare the total and single stage times. (and print the results in a browser compatible form).

I can works in two modes: as a server tool (needs a person with admin rights to control it). Racers are guests. Another way to use it is as a hot seat tool. Define profiles (with different names) or change the name of one profile and add them. Otherwise works same way (local user has admin rights). The stages are run as autox runs or normal (single player?) races.

Othewise VCom functions like a lapper (logs lap times etc). If you use W4x or X, I have 0.470 coming out in few days. Version 0.460 works for W.
