X does something to the skins in my skins folder, right?

Now I can't see online ANY skins that are in my skins_x folder!

Is this a bug or a F.O. to demo users?

Our team has only a demo server because all members don't have S2. And now nobody can see our team-skin on our server. We have been using a downloadable skin-pack and a skin-bank on our website.

Is there an easy way to fix this or do we just inform everyone to put our skins in their skins folder?

All download skins must now go in skins, i'm afraid

Yes, skins_x is now only for dds skins created by LFS.

Skins that you download manually, you should place in your skins folder.

In your case, you can just move the skins you want, from your skins_x folder into your skins folder.

We'll have put up an S2-host with the TBO class and maybe the rest ouf our team shall see the light...

When you download skins from the forum (for example), you put into the skins folder private and public skins.
Nobody can use private skin except his owner. But private skin is in the same folder that public skins. And when I choose a skin in the "garage", I don't always remember which skin is public and which skin is private.

It's not possible to have this folders : "skins" (for own skins and publics skins) and "skins_private" (for private skins ^^ (like the older "skins_x" folder )) ?

Yes this is a problem with the current skin system. Having those skins which I deem private, I always put those in the skins_x so I wouldn't have them to choose from in my garage. But now it is just filling my garage full of skins I don't want to see or choose.

This was all discussed before in the test patch threads, but never changed. A mess.
