Hello,

I have read the angry angel's tutorial on how to set up a server and I have followed all the steps. I forwarded my port as well and still no one can join the server. They dont see it on the list.

I have also tryed to host it through the client but still no luck. I have all my FW's off for right now.

Does anyone know what to do?

Whats your network setup like?
Something like
PC/Server <----> Router <----> Internet
If so, what make/model of router, or is it more like this
PC/Server <----> Internet

What firewall software do you use?
Can you connect to the server internally? (i.e. if you run the server on the same PC, what happens if you try to connect to localhost?)
Can we see your setup.cfg file?

I have a router, and it a Linksys WRT54G

Right now I have a Norton Internet Security and Windows Firewall

I can connect through the IP 127.0.0.1. on LAN

Is that all?

I'd put money on Norton Internet Security causing the problem tbh, failing that the ports aren't being forwarded from the WRT54G correctly.

I apologise but I can't stop for longer than 30 seconds right now otherwise I'll never finish working before 3am - I'll post some more info tomorrow asap
