We have some nice replays of recent races and discovered they can no longer be viewed after installation of patch X (get message "obsolete replay").
On the other hand hotlap replays are still rendered with patch X.

I looked at the MPR file headers and tried a trivial editing (e.g. replacing W with X) which wasn't really successful: the replay started but then complained about missing car data.

Is there a way to to watch these "legacy" mpr with version X?

why did you want to make it work that complicated? just leave another lfs copy with patch w on your hard drive.

Wanting to just be able to open a replay is complicated?

I'm like rocketalces. I don't have W and want to watch my replays. What can I do?
