two G25s?
Quote from EmilO :two G25s?

First one was the one that I bought. The reverse PCB under the stalk on the shifter was faulty, so I RMA'd it, and Logitech sent me an entire second G25.

For some reason they didn't ask for the original one back, so I fixed the shifter myself, and now I've got two working G25's.... keeping the second one in case I need spare parts.

I officially hate you.

Ofcourse, I am joking. I do not hate you, I am very jealous. I only have one G25.
But that guy has 3 (three) PS3s. He also has cake.

Meanwhile, I have no G25
Trade you my wheel for some cake. :cake: :yummy:

The funny thing is... on the second G25 that they sent me, the reverse on the shifter didn't even work out of the box. It was the exact same problem that my original one had. So I figured that I'd save myself the trouble and fix both of them myself. The PCB is like the simplest piece of board I've seen....just two straight leads from the reverse button to a connector that wires it to the rest of the shifter. I didn't even know that it was possible to screw up a circuit that simple.
LFS rig and more
OK, It's not just for LFS, but I do enjoy watching the streetlights dim when I power up

Ye just wait, i've got a PC sitting next to me with dual 8500GT's (WTF?!) a water cooled (crappy water cooling that is SO noisy) AMD 5600 - customer of my Dad's business wants to drop dual 8800's in it.

The technician tried TWICE to fix it and failed - in 3 mins i noticed there was no power to the mobo!

I might chuck some piccies up when the 8800's go in, although it will be quite funny having a PC with 1.5 GB of Graphics ram and yet only 1 GB of system RAM :P
My New Brazilian crappy computer... NooooT !

CPU: Athlon 64 x2 4600 EE (box)
HD: Seagate 160gb sata II (soon, to be x2 in Raid 0, if my mobo allows me)
Graphics: XFX 8600GT (more than enough for me so far)
RAM: 1gb Kingston DDR2-667 (soon to be 2gb)
Mobo: Asus M2N-e SLi (nforce 500)
Power Supply: Thermaltake P.P 430w
Mouse: Microsoft.. (weights..)
Keyboard: Standard (soon to be something decent for gamimg)
Sound: Cambridge/Omega
AMD Duron 1200
Gigabyte GA-7VA SFS
2x 512MB PC3200 Corsair XMS
MSI GeForce4 MX460
Creative Labs
40gb Seagate IDE
160GB Samsung S-ATA
Levicom 550Watt
10year old noname mouse and keyboard
Microsoft Sidewinder FFB with borken pedals

one hell of a gaming machine

Do you know whats even more pointless?
you've got all that 1337 hardware, and A. You never mentioned your cooling (Quads are like ovens) and B. You've only got a Momo :P

maybe they like their Momo's?

I liked mine.. I liked the DFP better, and the G25 better still.. but the momo is a good wheel still, while it lasts anyway.
Well here's mine:

Gigabyte DQ-6 mobo
2 Gb 800Mhz RAM
C2D E6600
Scythe Ninja CPU cooler
Nvidia 8800GTX
Nvidia 7100GS (for SoftTH)
Antec P180B case
Logi keyboard, mouse and G25 wheel
1x 24" Dell + 2x 19 " LG monitors

Runs beautifully at about 70 FPS @ 4480x1200

The outside:

The innards. I'm proud of the wiring, as I tend to build extremely messy systems:

wow.ALot of wires to sort through
