The devs have said they rarely/if ever read the Improvements Suggestions posts. They know where they want the game to go. I dint think we need slicks for the road cars (we certainly not the UF1k and the other slower ones) nor do we need road tyres for the race cars.

as for no slicks on road cars what about the lx4 and lx6?
i really want it to put rally tires on the fxr.its the closest thing to a wrc car in the game

My reasoning: because once we have slicks, that is all that everyone will be using, the normals and supers will never be looked at again unless you're a drifter.

Normals on most the road cars (except those without supers) are only used by drifters even now actually.

its a 4wd turbocharged 2 litre 4 cylinder car. doesnt get much closer to a wrc car than that. yes it has too much power and ludicrous amounts of lag but its the closest thing we have.

i think that the RB4 is closer to a WRC car than the FXR, alot closer...

gonna have to disagree with you again. the fxr has around 60kg of torque which is what a wrc car has but the rb4 only has 34kg

If the FXR were a real car and someone was idiot enough to take it offroading, there would only be a hood, a roof, and the things that hold the spoiler up and the trunk left, the entire body would be ripped off of it, in no way does the FXR look like it should go offroading.

Stats wise it may sound like one, but it deffinitely isn't one.

but since they aren't real the stats are all we have to go by

If you ask me, not being able to have the tires you want is unrealistic. All you have to do, is grab a Micky Thompson catalogue and order you some.

True, it limited the Horsepower AND Torque, I forgot >_<

If we are to have a WRC car, all we need is to start with the RB4, increases maximum suspension travel to 250mm (aka what WRC cars actually have), enable the use of dual rate progressive springs (main and helper spring setups), enable use of 4 way or frequency selective dampers, increase power to 300hp, increase torque to around 60 kg, enable a selection of tires to cope with anything a WRC car would be expected to cope with, proper bump stops, stronger, more damage resistant suspension, a roll cage and racing seats/harnesses, at least 1 passenger per car (to simulate co driver) and finally an antilag system (aka bang-bang whenever the throttle is lifted).

+ Vastly improved dirt physics
