1) well when iam racing and i see a car hit a barrier and go flying in the air it kinda kills the effect of real life. i dont think it would take alot for the car just to hit it and crumple rether then fly in the air.

2) more cars, i gather this is mentiond alot but i think a new selection of cars such as go karts, buggies or monster trucks would be really fun

1) You clearly don't know anything about collision detection then!?
Do you honestly think that they made the car fly in the air after a crash on purpose!? Of course it would be better if it just crumpled.

2) Correct, it has been mentioned a lot.

You know a topic has been discussed to death, resurrected and shot in the head when a demo user posts a burning banana.

Dunno, last time I saw a car hit a barrier in the movies it went pretty high into the sky and did some barrel rolls and then blew up.

i don't think its wrong i just think the scaling is wrong , because if i hit a wall at 120 mph with full roll cage is walk away with a bruise , not flying like superman


i know theres collision detection but its a bit too sensitive :S

To sensitive?

It isn't sensitive enough, that is why we go flying because the cars go inside the barriers and once the collision detection kicks in.. oh.. hey.. I'm inside a barrier, this should make a lot of force, and off you go flying.

I think detection system is not that bad.The only problem is the fact that the whole force (or major part of it) transfers on the movement of the car. IRL the force destroys the car at first and secondly makes it bouce off. The proportion is not very fortunate now.

Guy, don't take this the wrong way but like you said, you've had the demo a few days and only got S2 yesterday, the game and this forum have been around for years. Do you really think you have thought of a question or found something that no one has ever asked?

All the bugs/problems that you might find have already been found and posted about a million times over, then someone new comes in and starts the how process off again......until the end of time.

Everything is being worked on You should probably read the What is LFS section and also follow the link at the bottom to, more about S2 (if you haven't already) to understand what LFS S2 is and where it's heading.

p.s. The seach function will save you a lot of time, effort and grief.

Apart from all that, welcome to the wonderful world of S2. I think it's worth mentioning that to have the demo 3 days and then plump for S2 indicates a wise and mature outlook on life. You'll fit in well here !
