Leaders changed tires while SC was on track
Positions have stayed the same. Looks like we have finally find great safe method of safety car fase when we need SC on track, and ppl learned it. Good job
Can someone verify this, but after 4:00.00 and the leader not yet crossed the finish it appeared that LFS seemed to show the race over for me (maybe all but the 2 top cars in line)
I lost control of my car entering the turn and it got to fishtailing. Car 23 ignored me fishtailing and tried to pass on my left. That's when we made contact accidentally and we both spun out of control. I tried to think of a way of apologizing but remembered that I can't message in a race. But I do apologize.
In no way did I mean to cause DWB any harm. But from my perspective, the accident was unavoidable.
Now, I noticed that not too many drivers here know how to pass a slow car. If you watch the video between laps 86 and 110, you'll notice the many times I moved off and in one instance I stopped on the S turn to let a faster car through, because many of the drivers here drive like the AI's. Yet I was hit and pushed off track many times between laps 30 and 54 and on laps 93 and 94.
Well, I'll reserve my comments for the next thread. But I apologize and if DWB wants 20 second of my time is fine with me.
thats one of the two explanaitions DWB told me on msn he thought could of happened, so as i see it it's ok with him and ok with you, but one thing you must not do is STOP on track to let someone through, continue at your normal race pace but move off line on the straights and let the cars through
From my perspective, it looked like you were pulling off-line (to the inside) to let me by, so I went by on the outside (on the actual racing line). All of a sudden your car slammed into the side of my car and sent me spinning. I assumed you got on the gas too hard and lost it. Wasn't aware you were already fishtailing, because it didn't look that way from where I was sitting.
It was lap 94 for me, 87 for you (your car being 7 laps down).
edit: I don't really want 20 seconds of your time. It doesn't help me any and we won anyhow, but you were a hazard out there at times. It was just extremely frustrating when it happened because I'd been reeling the leader in by 1-3sec a lap and lost all the ground I'd gained over the last 40 laps.
I've decided that I will be doing a report for this round even though none of the cP cars participated in it.
I will only focus on top 3 leaders at any given time, so I would like to ask all of the teams and it's participating members who mingled in up there to send me few words about your individual stint(s), so I can add these as quotes in the report.
It should include team name - LFS driver nick and the stint # that you are refering to - write some words about how the stint(s) was for you, including mentioning the bigger incidents that you might have experienced.
In case of incidents, then plz be kind enough to clarify when (time/lap) they take place - also do the same in case of some big/good moments like important overtaking, avoiding crashing or whatnot.
I'll write the report if I get enough feedback/interest.
