Which team in F1 has impressed you the most?
I would say so far this season BMW Sauber have impressed the most to me, last year they had to fluke their way into the points and ended up 5th(just). Now there consistently with the top teams, will always score points, and probably capable of wins. There known this year as the 3rd force and will most likely stay that way for the rest of the year(but Ferrari will have to improve).

Other teams to me that have gained is Mclaren, last year they were probably where BMW is now, they were scoring points and podiums but not capable of consistently winning races.Compare that to now where they are simply dominating.

Super Aguri really need some credit this year as well. they have really worked hard during the off season, they have came from coming last every race, to dominating their factory Honda counter parts..

what do you think?
I wouldn't be surprised if next year BMW get 2nd in the WCC over Ferrari and behind McLaren.
This year, Super Aguri, for the following reasons:
  1. They have the word "Super" in their name, like Super Mario.
  2. They've got Takuma Sato, the only interesting driver in F1.
  3. Shaming Ralf Schumacher and Alonso last week. GO SUPER AGURI!
They just need a good theme tune and they'll be all set. Something like the Power Rangers theme.

Omg, I remember that. I just about fell out of my chair laughing when I saw Sato pull ahead of Alonso in the last lap.

Bastard must have been shitting bricks:jester:

Don't know why, but i'm liking BMW Sauber atm. No real reason, other than the fact that LFS runs a BMW Sauber, and my dad used to have a BMW bike :\.

They seem to be fairly low key too, not too "omg look at us we rule!".

McClaren seems to be kicking some major ass too, although i'm not liking the media attention that Hamilton is receiving.

As i'm a big fan of Heidfeld and BMW i'm really happy that they could make a
so big leap forward. Sadly Nich couldn't get the Ferraris in the Q now, but i think/hope it's cause of fuel strategy, looking at the free practice /q session 1 and 2 times. Or he just cannot put a good lap down... I just hate RTL
for not making a single interview after the race (that would count) (and i hate them for many other reasons too, but thats not the point)

Another bis surprise is the Toyota, in a negative manner.
I just can't believe, how they can remain that shit with the biggest budget of them all...

The Saubers have been going really well this season, biggest turnaround though has to be McLaren, finally got the reliability sorted and two good drivers who can drive a car for 90 minutes without either overrevving it or driving into everything that moves and quite a bit that doesn't. Renault biggest disappointment.
Quote from ajp71 :Renault biggest disappointment.

Yeah, they rested on their laurels and only made slight changes from last years car.

More to the point they lost their only good driver.
Yeah Renault has been the biggest disappointment, but they seem to have expected it..

Honda are a very close second though, they are really struggling out there..
