then u've got a prob, oow i know, u didnt installed the mod that is configured at the server and got booted because of "vehicle mismatch" or smthn, u sure u got the right mod? for all ur mod go to www.rfactorcentral.com u should find there allot of mods and tracks
Quote from Whitmore :You are the guy who posted rFactor couldn't handle vehicle weights of more than 2500 kg. Why don't you just admit you don't understand the physics model rather than make claims about its limitations? There's no shame in admitting that - for a mod platform, ISIs documentation of how the physics works is very poor - its no better than F1C which wasn't designed as a mod platform.

Please show at least a little interest in doing something on this forum other than bashing LFS. Bet you feel a bit silly now about your posts about how rF effects are uberawesome seeing as the rF community has started using realfeel

Hmm, I did contact to ISI and they did reply that they do look into it and they had no solution to it either, they did not deny that it is possible limitation either.

They asked that I would post that on forums which I did, but as so often no much of discussion was got from subject. (Would think that in discussion forum you would get some opposite opinions backed up with facts, that is called discussion)

You are claiming that I don't understand rFactor physics model, right, that part is not even worth commenting...
Really nice RSC attitude, 'know everything or shut up', geez. Why don't guys there demand that only those working in F1 teams as engineers can post?

If you like to come to cry about such thing at LFS forum, I would like to see you explaining then how to get tires support 5000kg mass in realistic size?

I really would like to know why physics engine goes berserk when adding realistic spring rates, dampers to suspension and tire stiffness and sizes. Only way I found to do it was to use smaller wheels in physics, so I really don't know how to get past that (you happy now as I admitted that I don't understand that specific part in engine?), I don't know many other things either but I'm at least sharing what I know and will learn stuff.

I know there is truck mod out, but I certainly have had no time to check how they have solved issue.

If you have some issues, there is that PM thing for that...
nah, normal standard track, standard car, all normal things, just f*ed up rfactor

I made small physics update if anyone is interested, also new engine in upgrades, it has bit more power so you can keep tail out tad longer.

Linkylink here

Still no new tires, haven't managed to make anything even semi decent yet
Brilliant mod.

How about instead of LX8 GTR we get Volvo-lookalikes in LFS?

Why not, there is race cars to satisfy lack of RWD cars with slicks without wings
Next stop: Saab 9000 Turbo!

4x4 rallycross version would be nice, hmm, that might been 9-3 or something like that.

Should finish this one first, tires are certainly getting me bald soon, to get those right will need lot of time :P

Check link in first post, there is again new update to physics department.

Brakes I need to think a bit, with realistic values those lock up too easily.
Tires are also still not proper ones.
Graphics will be updated quite soon, I hope.

Tell what you think, going wrong way or right?
