Well, here's my New Brooklands here.

Quote from Me on Ten Tenths :This circuit is inspired by the original Brooklands, however is set somewhere near, not demolishing what's left of the original track. The first half of the road course is exactly the same layout, with the exception of shortening the Sahara straight and the straight opposite it, to give a bit more garage space. It's also scaled differently. The second half of the track is all new.

Fig 1 - the original circuit.

As with the original circuit, it is a roval. The original Brooklands wasn't an oval per se, it was an egg shaped oval. Unfortuantly the FIA don't allow it to be an oval, and kidney ovals aren't to my taste really. So Vickers is now a straight, and the oval is slightly similar to Michigan in shape. I've retained the corner names from the original Brooklands for the oval and the first half, the corners in the second half of the track are named after some of the drivers - or should I say gladiators - who competed on the original track.

The oval will be 2 miles and banked at 10 degrees at the bottom, 15 in the middle and 20 at the top (similar to Irwindale, but on a larger scale)

The anticlockwise road course could hold F1 (preferably an English Grand Prix as well as the British GP at Silverstone). It wouldn't have the problem with Indianapolis with the banking, as it would not use any of the banking whatsoever. Of course, it could be used for runoff for Cobb and the first corner. Prototypes and also GT cars could be raced, F3 ...

A short course - which I haven't designed - could be built for the BTCC. On the oval, Indycars could be raced if they could be lured in to Europe, as could NASCAR.
