UKCT are proud to announce the latest addition to their growing family of performance racers, Chris Raemisch - known to all as Viper93.
We're very proud to have successfully attracted a driver of Chris's calibre. Chris has his work cut out for him at UKCT, with the coaching that is needed, but he is committed to helping the team build on their strengths and hone their racing skills. Chris recognises the potential in the individual UKCT drivers and has committed himself to helping the team as a whole to shave off those extra tenths and half-seconds.
Historically, UKCT has focused more on the administrative side of LFS, but as we approach a juncture where we have room to explore other avenues, we are now keen to extend our involvement into leagues and competitive online racing areas. Chris brings with him an impressive skillset in online racing and a solid commitment to the same values in racing that we at UKCT hold high. Chris is a natural choice for UKCT and Chris says UKCT is a natural choice for him.
Chris has worked with UKCT since the STCC public servers went live back in December 2006, supporting the STCC and CTRA public servers as one of the "hidden" admin. Over time he has become very much a valued member of the UKCT community. Now that connection has been made official, and Chris has formally joined UKCT.
Welcome, Chris! We're really glad to have you!

Before anyone jumps to any conclusions I would just like to say that Muroc is an awesome team, with awesome drivers! My leaving Muroc didn't have so much to do with the team as I have been working with UKCT for months now and have really got to know most of them well. I helped out with the CTRA server managing and was on TeamSpeak(TS) with them most nights and it just made sense for me to officially be part of a team that I have been a part of for many months now. Sure they are not the fastest...yet... but when you take away the fact that they love putting their cars on their roofs almost as much as racing they know the "rules of the road" so to speak and are great people to race with.
With the new things that UKCT are bringing online in the next few months it's going to be an exciting time, and I just wanted to be a part of that excitement! Who knows maybe this team is a diamond in the rough and might be the next hot team in LFS? We shall see =)
I have spent most of my racing career, if you want to call it that under the Muroc banner. They are a great bunch of guys and they are Uber fast, much faster than me! =) I wish them all the luck and hope they can go show the rest of LFS that they really are the team to beat!
