Plastic Case Painting
Today, I was really bored. I decided to take apart the front panel of my Dell, and paint it. It came out fairly well. It made my dell look a little ricey, and my mom said "It's still only a dell." I used Rustoleum 'American Accents' (I don't understand what makes the paint American lol). The only regret I have is that the paint can be scratched off if you try hard enough. I just found the paint laying around. It said you can use it on "wood, metal, and more." I suppose if I wanted to, I could have bought plastic primer. But, I think that I might just do another coat or two of paint tomorrow, and see if it looks better. This spray-paint is excellent, dry to the touch in 1hr! Oh, and I made the dell symbol black by scribbling on it with a permanant marker!

Cool...

I once sprayed a bass guitar orange, but that was to hide the fact that it was stolen.
In my pic, the paint looks orange. Even in person, it looks a little orange. But, on the can it says "Cinnamon?" Doesn't look very cinnamon to me
It probably wouldn't sell if they called it "Chicken Tikka".
Hmm, the paint still feels sticky, 24hrs later. I can press my thumb into the paint and leave a mark. I wonder if a high-grit sanding and 2nd coat of paint would work?
I would wait a bit longer, maybe put it on a warm heater(?) to help the paint dry
