I know this is stretching it a bit. But I would like to see some server side downloads. They don't even have to be from the server's host an sv_downloadUrl type setup would work really well.

What I want to do is setup something that looks like the FOM overlays via InSim. All I have to do is skin the buttons. But to do that I would need an update to the button interface and we would have to allow outside resources.

Anyway. I'll post a screen shot later of what I have setup. I think you'll all see it looks pretty bad ass right now, but it would look so much better if it were skinned.


Come to think of it, this does not belong in the programmer section. What's more I think some one has asked for this before. I'll let this be deleted or moved to Improvements / Suggestions.
