Bought S2 voucher - but got S1 [Solved]
Hello !

I am very angry - i bought S2 voucher for my friend, got the vooucher code. I gave the code to friend - he entered it. But when he entered it and upgraded - he got only S1 ,how the f*** got he S1. I got 2£ on my account, when i buyed S2 voucher i had to pay only 22£ but when i payed only 12£ have gone and 10£ had gone to my LFS account !

Scawen please HELP !!! Im really dissapointed and alos my friend isnt happy , the user name who upgraded account is : antskaar (he used the voucher code) and i have bought it Kirill.D

Hello Kirill.D, Thank you for purchasing this LFS S2 voucher. The voucher code is: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx You can now send this code to the person you've bought it for, so he/she can upgrade his/her LFS account. That can be done by entering the voucher code on this website, on the License Status page. When the voucher code has been used and the account of the person who used it has been upgraded, it will be possible to unlock LFS as usual (with username and GAMEpassword). Thanks again and if there are any questions, feel free to email us, LFS Team

EDIT : Now it seems that the LFS payment system saw that i had 2£ on my account so he said that i have to pay 22£ but 22£ is not enough for S2 - so he only bought S1 voucher and left 10£ got to my account ,now i dont need the money - its not mine. I have to buy S1->S2 voucher - is it possible to pay thru LFS account. Cause thats not small money for me - i have to give the guy S2.

I would drop the developers an e-mail from the main LFS site. There is a link for this in Q & A / Contact US.

Hopefully they will delete the S1 account and refund you, letting you then purchase S2. Or simply put another £2 in and upgrade from S1 to S2?

When you purchased the voucher did it not clearly indicate that it was S1 voucher you were purchasing?

Need to pay : 22+ 0 - i thought that the system will just take the 2£ from my LFS account themselve and then it will be 24£ and he will buy S2 voucher.

But it didnt, i sure think that LFS must refund me or delete the S1 accoun and let me upgrade the friends account to S2.

But the worstest thing is - why ISNT IT POSSIBLE to buy vouchers and licenses thru the LFS account money ? Cause what the hell will i now do with these 12£ on my LFS account , i dont need that money ((

Well, it should be possible that way afaik. Just wait till Scawen or Victor sees your topic or send them an email. I'm sure it can and will be solved, no need to worry.
Im trying to get this solved as fast as possible. Its very hard to get Scawen
Sadly I am that poor S1 owner, who didnt get S2
I hope that this mess will be solved quickly and i will get my S2.

As posted by DarkTimes, write a mail to the developers. The admins of this forum have nothing to do with license issues, and writing a mail is usually the fastest way to get a response. Maybe the devs will see this thread if you're lucky, but either way, give it a day and I'm sure you'll have a response by then.

Don't overreact about not being able contact the devs. It's saturday and it's just been two hours since you started this thread. Just write them a mail and you will get a reponse.

Its confusing i know but you had to change the 0 to 2. Then it had taken those from you raccount as you would have wanted. The correcy thing would have been that the system would have alerted you that you were paying too little for S2.

The devs have lives too, calm down a bit man. There's more to life than LFS, go outside or something, go do something. But don't go sitting here waiting for a response and kick up the topic everytime, as it will only seem to take longer that way.

As far as I know, the Devs wont actualy respond to problems like this through the forums, your best bet is to e-mail them as suggested before.

Well, don't worry if there has been a problem we will sort it out.

But this is really a technical support thing, and we have a special maling system at www.lfs.net for technical support.

Geraldine doesn't read the forum looking for technical supoprt, but she checks the tech support email usually twice a day, so it's very rare not to have an answer within 24 hours.

Yay, finally I got my S2. LFS Tech Support gave S1 -> S2 code and removed that 12£ from his account. I'm glad that this is sorted out now.
