How do these guys in multiplayer, manage it?

Whenever I attempt it, usually on a straight, I find I am all over the road when my eyes go back to the job in hand!

Is there a way to program different remarks apart from the normal 'Good Race' and 'Good Pass'?

Yes, you can do this in Options > Game

I got one of these from my FPS days. The software lets you assign macros to the keys, so I put my Ctrl+Key function in LFS then assign the macro to one of the keys on here. It's nice cause I can leave this sitting next to my wheel so I don't have to reach for the Ctrl and another key, kinda like buttons on a dashboard... It's called the Nostromo n52 and runs for about $25 USD

Edit: And it's lasted me for several years of heavy use

It's easy to do with a wheel, one hand on the wheel, one hand to type, bit of a pain to change gear sometimes with paddles though, better with the sequential shift.

I can't type and talk, never have been able to. I just don't do it. The most I can maybe manage is to send a setup on the straight at Blackwood. Aside from that I'm mute except for the occasional or , depending on the situation.
