Very good discussions and recommendations. I've been trying some of these (finding a good fps limit, or using v-sync) and it's helping a lot.

One of you, that seems to have a very good system, mentioned that some of this new racing sims (GTL, I guess) is so full of gfx features to make it look good that there's no way to configure it appropriately as far as fps go.

That's what worries me. Just wanted to make sure that, for the devs records, it seems that there is an abvious agreement here that we don't need to see LFS turning into something like that in the future. As a matter of fact, we have all the indications that this is the way that devs look at it. Anyway, hopefully, in future version releases we will see some initiatives to make this software aiming for constant fps... and let our nice systems handle the "higher fps" piece .
