It was done using only VirtualDub, so there are no special effects only simple fades for transitions.

I think the music fits perfectly with the straightforwardness of the overall video and the scenes shown. I was planning to do something similar as my second LfS video, but now I'm not so sure anymore


Oh, one question: What did you use for compression?
You see, the problem with my videos is that I have to render my movies uncompressed from Adobe Premiere Pro (yes, a whopping 20 GB for the last one) and then compress it via PocketDivX / Lathe. But even Lathe won't let me use a resolution higher than 720x404... :\

I'm no expert on compression, but I used XVid and played with the quality slider in VirtualDub until I reached a reasonable quality/size compromise.

Not bad, i quite like it! I think I prefer the movies that can sync up movement and music more than those with the fancy special effects.

I like it! Tune works well with it. One critism is the grip-rolling bit. Cars look a bit odd in LFS when they griproll, and the plain bottom of the car looks a bit "odd".

Other than that... kick bottom!

cool movie. what speed was the slow motion set on? (example 0.25, 0.50)

I recorded at 0.25 @ 30fps and made the movie at 60fps.
So effectively, the movie runs at 0.5 speed.
