Not trying to be cheeky, but I didn't really understand you. Allow me to hazard a guess at a translation:

Sorry, the noob speaks again. Well, I have my S2 back (yay), and I was driving the Sauber on the oval. I noticed that people were doing 230mph, and they said that to do it you needed to use decent racing lines. So I did what they did, but nothing speeds me up, I just slow down. Is there a knack to it, along with practice, just to do this?

So, you want to go faster I think. Turning WILL slow you down (or at least, slow your acceleration). What you have to do is make each turn the biggest radius you can for the least resistance, and use as little steering lock as you can to make that curve.

Just copying their lines, when you might have double their steering lock on, or being rough with the car isn't enough. You'll need to practice and take each tenth as it comes. Try different lines and turn/apex points, and make a note of what gives low sector/lap times.

Edit: To demonstate, at Mallory Park I was entering Gerards at over 100mph on full throttle. Despite the car being capable and geared for over 130mph, it wouldn't accelerate beyond 108mph over the length of the corner, but as soon as I removed lock for the exit the car accelerated properly again.

You didn't metion if you have a setup that was capable of running that speed.
well a guy who was doing that speed gave me a set up

Okay, that's fine, just making sure

The next step is to post a replay. Which imo, is the most common reply to topics like this.
You could also tell us what controller setup your are using?
well i am using a g25 streeing wheel. he is a replay i did couple stupid tunes but urs see

thats not a proper oval setup, actually. Looks like your using default. When he sent you it, did you press n then click the green S?

Download that set, place it in Live For Speed/Data/Settings, then select it in garage.

I also reccomend you download this autoX layout, itll teach you how to do oval, basically.
