Ok when i go multiplayer and List Of Games the update screen appears, then i have to choose a mirror but when i click on it i get error message "Could not open the restarter program" and i cant click Start download because is asking to choose mirror.

guess somehow you deleted your lfs_restart.exe try the one provided in this post

u can also install the patch manually, which can bedownloaded in the gereal discussion section.

for vista users....when you run the lfs.exe, right click on it first, then click run as adminastrator, then click allow, now you have it all opened....then you can click on the auto download thing when you click multiplayer and it will all work fine, because it is being run as an adminastrator

Or try this. Take the word 'patch' out of the filename

It'll work then even if you don't have admin rights

OK, there seems to be alot of questions still about installing LFS updates on Vista and I have not found the most basic solution to the problem in the forums yet. I might have missed it and this could be a repeat of someone else, but this is what I found:

OK HERE GOES!!!!

1. First of all download the file to the Desktop and extract the files to the desktop so you can see the files contained. These should be the Data, Docs, LFS (game link) and the patches Readme file.

2. Put the LFS (game link) and Readme into whatever folder you wish to open LFS from.

3. The Data and Docs folders go to a different location. You will need to show hidden files for this. This is the destination required for these two files. C:\Users\(your user file)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files......and from there whatever file name you put the LFS (game link) in so it looks the same. eg. mine is \Games\LFS and then you copy the two folders into there.

4. That should be it, nice and basic, now all you need to do is click on the LFS (game link) and GET ON TRACK!!!!!
