y0!
Well, I've tried my German in a "Kebap" where the owner thought "drei" meant "2" (
- Jakg got no Kebab
) and I'm shocked at the at the amount of people that smoke, coming from a country where smoking is banned in public places, seeing a shop offering a go on a Hookah (or "jumped up vacuum cleaner" as my Dad so... Elegantly put it!), with 6 boys of all of 16 having a go is.., different. Quite surprised at the price of Cigarettes, I've seen a pack of 17 sell for €1.26 (!) and fancy Marlboro's for €3.00, whereas in the UK a pack is roughly £4! The "evil" part of me knows that the kids at my School would pay £6, £8, maybe even £10 for a pack costing half that!
Anyway, I know you may think I'm sad for telling a bunch of friends about my holiday, but when it's pissing it down there ain't much else to do!
