BTCC - Donington - 15th July
As title says. Anyone going?

Barely been Donny, and the opertunities i've had to go i've been in the pits, not actually spectating.

Would like your opinions on the best place for spectating? I've heard Craner Curves and the Old Hairpin are some good places to watch.

Cheers.

EDIT: Ugh, still half asleep, should have posted in 'General Racing Talk' section really i guess.
Nope, but I'll be at Snetterton 29th July for the BTCC
I went to the Thruxton one earlier this year and hopefully will go to the season ending one there - it's a sensible move to give the UK's best circuit 2 days, despite the restriction that it must sit idle (in the motorsport sense) 353 days of the year.

Anywhere near T1 is good, I imagine if you can sit anywhere Goddards it would be a good idea but I haven't been to Donington.
The Old Hairpin is great.

Thats where I was and it was great. Saw loads of action and you can see alot of track.

You can see from the exit of Hollywood to the straight after McLeans.
I was at Old Hairpin for most of the WSBR meeting last year. Lots of overtaking there with the run down Craner Curves. Its quite a long way from the spectating bank to the track though so not good for pictures.
Not unless you got mega zoom

I reckon the best spot is half way between redgate and the craner curves so you can see the start and if you then walk a bit further down you can see Redgate and the back of the circuit for the race.
