couple of points.

1) how do YOU know it's a decent game.
2) WHY would the game be ruined by bikes.

Certainly the trailer looks very good. I personally have never been a fan of the series due to the fact that I haven't owned a console since 2000 when I sold my psx.

Graphics as usual look very good and the rain effects look nice too. I was a bit surprised to see bikes racing on snow covered roads but I guess its not a realistic sim so its ok. Looks good fun but it will only be really fun if you can knock people off their bikes like in EA'S superbikes 2001. I always laughed when I caused an accident and took down 8+ riders and then they all started sprinting back to their bikes hehehehe...

PGR4 looks nice!

Why would extra content ruin a game? Surely the previous version of PGR did not have bikes so this version should simply add to the fun. It will give people a new experience and possibility to race a different machine rather than 4 wheels. You can always choose NOT to pick the bikes if you don't like them.

I don't think BiKES has ruined any games?

I quite enjoy the odd XBOX Live PGR games every now and then
I'll prob end up buy this when its released, i'll play it once every 3 months, but that once will still be good fun!
The only problem is the 10 year old (i could single out a nation here but i wouldn't want to stoop to Hankstar's level ) that also play XBOX Live...

I loved MSR on dreamcast! I haven't played its sequels

Its just PGR3 with weather effects and bikes, bikes that have the ability to take turns very fast in the snow...I won't be buying this game, I only got PGR3 because it was free with my 360.

Except it looks fecking amazing! PGR3 looks good, but this looks great. And the gameplay whilst being arcady is just fun. I just hope they sort out the contrast, on pgr 3 when playing with Clear weather its uber bright at some points, and so dark you can't see in the shadows

As for bikes, they made GTA:VC and SA a shipload more fun than GTA3 :up: They're not exactly racing sims/games though. PGR isn't exactly a hardcore sim either, more a grown-up arcade racer. A few arcade bike games are pretty sweet like the ol classic Manx TT, and I have MotoGP4 for the PS2 which is good for some drunken battles with my RL Duke-riding brother...

However, bikes in our game (LFS) - nuh-uh...

Bikes only add to TDU as well. I think the new PGR looks pretty impressive, I really like the rain effects. I might buy it, if just to play every once in a while. I hardly ever play PGR3 though, not since I got TDU and Forza 2 came out.
