I hear they're trying to improve it for spectators and racers alike... put stands closer to the track and widen/smooth the track in places so it won't be a parade. I live nearby, which is why I thought of posting it.
Here's another one... not exactly a race track, but a very famous location that's related to autosport.
I saw the revised map, it does look a bit different around that Chavez area. But the last straightway has got to go. That area is like a slum, and is a terrible spot to add a section of the track I really don't think they can make it better for spectators because the fencing is what the problem is. They will never get rid of the fencing for safety, and that is too bad because, if you try to look down the track, you won't see it at all, because the farther down, the fencing ever-so-slightly obstructs the view more and more, until you cannot see anything at all. And that is within like a 30 foot distance . The only way to make it better would be to have grandstands EVERYWHERE that are higher than the fences. And hopefully the grandstands could be free in most areas, but chances are they wouldn't be. I was hoping for the best with that track, since it is only 30 mins from my place, but all the people that went with me agree that there is a slim chance we will ever go again, unless they can make huge improvements for the spectators... but it is so cramped there with so many restrictions on where put things, it still seems they are troubled with making a decent track.
I still prefer Laguna Seca :static: And Infineon 2nd, but that place is always hot!
#1 -- I am not really sure, but I had to search the name just so I could spell it right. Schleizer Dreieck? It looks a lot like it at least... but I am not sure if I am even looking at the picture right
