My system on my laptop is very slow ive tried wipping it out, virus scanning, Rolling back windows, Defrag. I cant it work any quicker but when i purchused the laptop i thought it was pretty quick. I havent got any windows CD's but its allready been preinstalled. Im sure your thinking how is this LFS Related, well in away it is because im going to run 2 servers off it and the insim and i think it might not be able to cope? Is there any clever person who could give me an answer .

There should be another partition with the recovery image on it.

Unfortunately it seems to be quite a common practise that companies do not provide Windows installation CDs with computers with preinstalled Windows. Don't you even have system recovery discs? It can be that there is an image file of the preinstalled Windows somewhere in your hard disk, propably in a hidden partition that you can access by pressing some function key after you have turned on the PC. Normally you will have an option to burn that image on the CD or DVD, so that in the future you can initialize the system recovery by using that disc.

Check your manual for instructions for reinstallation, or it could be called system recovery or something else in the manual. If the manual does not help then call your laptop manufacturers technical support line.
