Without having to do an extensive search here, has anyone got any suggestions to a new FZ5 sound?.

The standard one is very mute and muffled, anyone know of anything a bit more raw and rorty?

I got tonnes, fair bit of sound clipping though

Ignore the random filenames No idea if the V8 does sound like a V8 though same with the supercharger, I'm not a car sound expert :P

Much rawer but still reasonably realistic.

WARNING: This sound clips like hell

You could fix it by lowering the engine volume, but it doesnt sound as RAWR at a lower volume.

FYI, this sound is supposed to be all nice and giving a nice burble at low revs, then scream at high revs, I dunno about burble but it does scream


I actually have a "RSI Performance Kit" for all 19 cars, but I dont think anyone wants 19 sounds that clip

I'm going to hijak this thread and ask if anyone has some good FXO sounds that don't sound like the exhaust pipe is 10 million miles long.

Its hard tho Zach, i mean unless your using chase view, it always sounds like a Moped in cockpit view :<

I think that is the only one I have, I do have some GTRs, I'll post those up later though (I'm on my laptop atm)

That FZ5 though I agree.. it is brutal.

A few minor sound updates I'll stick in here.

BF1_NEW.eng - *Slighty* more engine like sound, and better gear shift sounds.

FZ5_NEW.eng - More meaty "flatter" sound, but still refined.

FZ5_NEW2.eng - More race car like, slightly tweaked from earlier one in this thread.

FZR_NEW.eng - Less roar, but more meaty and more 911 like.

I made a new sound for FZ5. This my first car sound for LFS, I hope someone likes it.

i think its best if people describe what the car sounds like in cockpit and outof cockpit, because its a bit misleading, when it sounds GREAT outside, but like a 2stroke motorbike inside
