I won my bank charges back!!
There has recently been a clear-up of a few laws in the UK meaning that banks are less able to make an profit from overdraft charges and are only allowed to charge a fee proportional to the actual admin costs, as well as enabling people to claim back their charges for the bast 6 years.
Basically a few years ago, I went overdrawn one month and quickly put the money back. My bank then charged me for this and I went overdrawn again, for which they then charged me AGAIN. This happened on and off for about a year and a half, with me being charged up to £80 a time, which would leave me out of pocket for the rest of the month, making me likely to go overdrawn again.... etc...
Also
Haha.. I only claimed for £414.
I suggest anyone in the UK who has suffered bank charges they feel are unreasonable to read this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6170209.stm
