Maybe not the best place for this thread but...

I have a red momo wheel and every time I use it on my computer my computer restarts without warning.

I have tried the wheel on another computer and it works fine, I’m wondering if it’s the wheel or my computer.

As I don’t have another wheel with FFB I can't test my computer. I’ve never had any other problems with this wheel.

are you running windows xp? if so, there is an option to turn off the automatic restart on errors. rightclick on my computer, then goto advanced, look for a box called starting and ..., click on properties look for system errors and uncheck the box that says automatic restart.
this might not solve the actual issue with the wheel, but at least you´ll get a chance to see any warning boxes or even a blue screen, which can help us to narrow down the problem.
have been using a red momo for about five years, but i never had that problem. faulty soundcard drivers are most often responsible for restarts.

tried it and it goes to a blank blue screen and just sits there...

i would get a new wheel but funds are tight atm
