I just opened LFS like i use to, but this time it started like if it was the first time it's been started. And when i try to select my player it says "Cannot open file: Lyngris"

WTF?

I'll take a wild guess that the file has been corrupted somehow. Make sure you run scandisk on your drive to make sure you clean up any potential errors. If that doesn't fix it you'll probably have to recreate your player from scratch. No big deal since the in-game credits don't do anything anyway.

Anyway..

Same problem. My PC crashed and seems to have corrupted the player I was using and all my settings. When I restarted LFS, it took me through all the setups you go though when you run it for the first time.

I know its fairly easy to create a new player, but how do I go about getting rid of the old one? It won't let me select the player in LFS to delete it.

Aha.. got it. Just delete the appropriate .ply file from the 'misc' folder.
