I used to drive with mouse for steering and pedals for braking and acceleration when my old wheel was broken.

It's actually pretty good, you have near perfect control of the car.
That's good to know it is still under warranty. I was going to suggest if you were sure it was the actual motor, to see if there were numbers on it and visit an RC forum where they are very knowledgeable on small electric motors.
Quote from simscube :I have in the past, I just cant go back, if anyone remembers me from back then, I couldn't drive worth anything, I would just continuously hit walls and other racers. I was so bad that people would call me a crasher

Hey mate, I ordered a steering which will arrive on next week, until then I'm using keyboard and guess what? I took the 2nd place over 19 peoples using steering wheels... You don't need a wheel to play Live For Speed mate

Ground RC uses quite large motors compared to our wheels (I think..) I was thinking more of RC airplane motors of which are typically around a 400-480 sized maximum. I have no idea what size motor is in FFB wheels. I think mine in the MOMO is quite small.

Looking at that site to see if there was anything about RC flight, I notice they have an STCC league, LOL. I didn't see what "STCC" stood for though doing a quick browse.
