The Commercial Airline Pilots' Room
Erm hi this is hiroshima guy here.

This thread is specially for those players of LFS who are pilots in their real-life. I'm of course not a pilot but I will be one when I'm older.

I love planes that's why I'm seeking you pilots here.

If you're a pilot, please tell us what airline company you fly for and what airplane are you most experienced with.

If you're not a pilot you're still welcomed to comment...

Hope to hear from you...
My first job was as a pilot..
When I arrived at the factory they gave me a broom, and said sweep the floor, and PILe IT here, and PILe IT over there as well...

I logged 490 hours in a 737 on FS9 if that helps
lame o/t post of the week award.
How about a special thread for left handed LFS-driving pig farmers who prefer tea to coffee? Lets hear from you. Even if you're not really a farmer yet but might like to be one later.

Im a leftie, but forget becoming a pig farmer
I'm sorry Hiroshima, I'm the bitter sarcastic mod, it's my job. Now lighten up and post something funny/useful

I'm a pig farmer, but sadly I'm right-handed...

I prefer tea to coffee, but I'm right handed, and definitely not a pig farmer.

I'm a left handed farmer, but unfortunately I'm not a pig
im a donkey farmer...left handed, and LOVES tea

No. You ruined the joke.
I'm not seeing how this thread is so bad, if he'd asked for professional racing drivers, no one would have minded. I'd love to get the chance to talk to some real pilots too, but it's not looking like there's many on here.

I would be willing to bet that Professional Airline Pilots are more interested in Flight Sims than racing sims. (Not saying all of them are.)
I took a plane once, they made me give it back though
I'm left handed, my uncle had a pig, and I like tea - ICED tea.
sorry for ruining the joke....

My friends dad works as a pilot...and he worked for British Airways...in a 737
I have my private pilot license and I'm going to be working on my Instrument/Commercial in 3 weeks when fall classes start, not quite Airline/Professional but working on it.

Edit: Flying a Piper Warrior III.
thanks to all the med's im on , i get so high you'd swear im flying , do's that count ??

I don't think so - you'll be tired of it soon.

Taxi to parking via taxiways A B and C. [Alpha Bravo and Charlie), give way to passing XF GTIs and keep your eye out for wreckers, have a nice evening.

I know something about flying..

Why would you say that? I am not a pilot and I was addicted to Flight Sim. The only reason why I stopped was because i needed a laptop for school and it can't handle FS2002.

I guess if he posted on simflight forum he wouldn't have had the pee tazken out of him so much, but yes this is lfs forum and we race cars here, although in my spare time i love to fly gliders I don't post lame threads about gliding here, I post all those on soar.net.
Man, people who fly glider are sooo lame. I hate those guys so much. They just totally think they're above everyone. I swear to God, if I meet another person who fly's gliders I'm going to kill myself.

Edit: I'm banned, aren't I?
Hmm seems that most of you are flying as a job of a pilot in Flight Sims...

Well I'll accept it as well too. People who flew in Flight Sim please tell us how many hours you clocked, what Flight Sim and what plane are you most experienced in...
If I hadn't posted about sim racing in a flight sim forum, SCAVIER would have sold 5 less licenses (I think 5).....

I fly FS9. I am currently (when I don't log on to race) flying an 1179 flight world tour in a Baron 58TC. I think I'm on flight 109 of 1179. I haven't been doing the world tour that much. I've flown in another server and toured many areas of the world... The pacific Islands (my first flights online), Australia, the UK, Washington State, US, Eastern Asia, Alaska, Hawaii, and others.

www.wspilots.com if you're interested. 3 servers, free flight, the world tour, and an ~ monthly rotating tour of smaller areas. Works with FS8, FS9, and FSX.

There's a few threads here in off-topic about flight simming.
