Hello!

Let's introduce myself and my league first.

I'm Darkone, real name Bas Bouma, and I am going to host a new FO8 league. Some may know me from the forums or online racing.

The Formula V8 Racing Series will start August 9 with a Test Race. Two weeks after that Race 1 of the league starts, at August 23.
The Test Race will take place at Aston North, a great circuit to race on. Especially in the FO8. There will be 30 experienced drivers racing eachother. When 30 drivers have signed up, there will be a qualifying. I'm not telling the circuit yet, that might be unfair. More information about this will be given later.

The qualifying of the race itself will be 20 minutes long. After these 20 minutes, the drivers who are still on their flying lap may still finish their flying lap. Every race of the season will finish the first lap over 180 km. In the case of Aston North this will be 182,0 km, with a total of 35 laps.

I'd love to join that mate, but I am already committed to my GFC league, and I have little spare time left to attend another at the moment (.

You can count me in for the test race - the more leagues the better as far as I am concerned! I will sign up on your site over the weekend.

Sounds good! It's great to see the FO8 being appreciated. It's a fantastic car that demands real skill. It's a shame I'm really not keen on Aston...

I would love to join this, but im allready commited to the GFC and another league which runs at the same time as this one

The standard promises to be very high in this league, and some of darkone's ideas are pretty interesting. So if there are any quick drivers looking for a challenge, look no further!
