The vibrations were caused by, we think, the internals of the camera being slightly loose, making it look a lot worse that it was. Rockingham is silky smooth in fact! I've talked to the camera suppliers, and we are currently discussing getting their latest, military spec camera (550 line 1/3" CCD PAL) in return for sending them raw footage.
Shot - you should know - in the video I never ever drift, and I never will in that racing car. I do, however, suffer oversteer, slides and have to correct it. Both are slow, but one is daft and the other necessary.
And I HATE my white helmet. They should be banned from motorsport. I need a cheap (as in, less than £100) paint scheme. Anyone know if sticker companies that do car-wraps can do a helmet-wrap?
