Well if I get a passing credit report, I'll be the proud new owner of a Triumph Bonneville America (damn that's a lot of words for a motorcycle!).
The guy at the dealership tried really hard to sell me a sports tourer (a Tigre)
but I'm a little too old for crotch rockets.
So please wish me luck. Both in being able to get the bike and in living long enough to show it off. I really hope I can get it financed, the monthly note and insurance is a lot less than what it cost in gasoline to operate my Suburban in two weeks. Besides, it needs a valve job and at least one new rod and (hopefully not) a main bearing. Damn thing overheated due to a bad thermostat and a leaky radiator cap. And by brilliant ass still made it drive home. And I've gone through too many econoboxes (with Texas weather and Houston traffic, what they save you in gas, you can add to repair costs)
