Between now and Sunday I hope to work through all or most of the issues raised from launch with the aim of producing a more stable and feature complete X-System.

This will necessitate quite a few restarts of the X-System between now and completion of the updates and may result in periodical mass disconnects.

I wish to appologise in advance for any issues raised during these works.

I think it's fairly obvious that the software just wasn't quite ready when we launched - well to me it is anyway - there's been some issues found I had not anticipated true but also, we did our best to get the system out before Sam went away and it's just not quite stable enough for my tastes.

One of the key problems behind the instability I have identified and fixed, i've taken garbage collection control away from the compiler and am doing it manually, i'm aware that there is a problem on the TCP buffers that I have to recode some of the compiler itself to fix (I dont know how to do this still, i'm working on it) and there's one other issue i've spotted tonight that i'm trying to trace and fix.

Once these issues are resolved we should have a much more stable X-System upon which to build phase 2 of our plan to conquer the universe.
It seems that x-monitor (at least maybe) is resetting the grid times?
When X-System exits grid times are lost, X-Monitor has no influence over them, all that does is detect if the software is running and if not it relaunches the software.

Today i've done 3 or 4 manual relaunches to include new features and install debugging tools which would indeed cause the grid to be reset.

For instance, the last relaunch installed the fearsomely boring $stack command which i'm currently running off every 30 seconds or so to ensure the memory leak really isnt in my code and is where I think it is, the compiler - which would suck, i'd actually preffer it to be my mistake as that'd be easier to fix.
Thanks for all your hard work!!!These are really fun races to drive in.

In that case, I wish to apologise in advance for hitting your car next time I see you on track

But seriously: good luck!
