Quote from auto emocion :What don't you like about them? This is my first wheel, but i think their perfect.

From what I've heard, they're made from a single piece of metal instead of two separate paddles. For example when you flick the right paddle, the rebound effect can activate the left paddle as well. Not that I'd have a G25, that's just what some people say.

Battery - i've got the same with mine but everyone else i know doesn't have this problem.

I can also "bash" the wheel into making a downshift

The only thing i miss about the Momo was being able to pull the paddle just away from the upshift position before the shift, and then just pushing that little extra when i needed to - if that makes any sense
I'm going over to my friends tonight to give his G25 a spin. I'll post my feedback sometime.

I love my MomoBlk wheel. But my pedals are borked right now.
I'm buying a G25 today,
Got to try it last night over beers and stuff. Only ran it in GTR2 (911 and Saleen).

It is nice. But I wasn't sold. The shifter is kind of gimmick imho. The gates are not greatest feeling, and I wanted to take the ball off and just use the shaft to shift. Kind of like a little switch. I'm sure it gets easier with use. I only managed to blow the engine once on a bad downshift to the wrong gear.

The wheel feels really great. I still don't like only 2 buttons (coming from Momo which is best imo). I never used the paddels so don't know about them. The feedback and all that is top of course.

The pedals I am really crossed up about. The feel is great, but my boats are too big. Even with just socks, they are all just to close together for me. With normal shoes forget it.

In the end, I don't think I like the G25 enough to outweigh the Momo Black's lower cost. I'd buy it for the pedals if there was no clutch and the spacing was better but I don't like the button/shifter unit either. So to me, imho, best would a 2 pedal G25 base with the MomoBlk upper. I'd pay $150 for that. Come on Logitech, realease one more version of the Momo Black with a 2-Pedal G25 base.

(this review is only from about a hour of play before we moved on to more beer and other games)
Now that I've gotten my hands on the G25 for several days I am hooked on it and think it's worth every penny I spent. It's obviously a very subjective thing as the previous poster, Cargo, has issues with some of it but for me I think it's great! YMMV of course, but I'm a happy camper.
It's great, I had my doubts at first but once I got it working and adjusted the settings. I couldn't go wrong.

I recommend it to get the most realistic expierence.
The wheel is the best i'v ever driven with

But the shifter lacks in feel, and the pedals are ... whell just wrong.
They are too small, and too close to eachother.

The pedals on a G25 are the best you'll get without spending the same money again on a set of pedals - they are the same space apart as on my Momo and on my ACT Labs set, and i like 'em where they are.

Everyone seems to bitch about the shifter, but while it does feel a bit like a toy it's going to unless you mount it at waist height *shrugs*
well maybe
Got mine from Tiger today. Shaved 1.25 off my best time tonight.
hmmmm....
noob question.

Can I set the G25 at 270º ?
I killed my 6th set of Momo pedals so I'm quite pissed off.
I like the wheel/feedback etc. though.. I just want better quality pedals..so was thinking about G25 but I'm not gonna buy it if I can't set it at 270º.
you can set a g25 anywhere from 40º to 900º in the control panel
i brought the wheel then the computer then the game this wheel is going to cost you your life, you will lose lots of hours with this hahaha
