Newb to hosting here, ive read over the instructions but i cant get the dedi running, how have you done it?

Saying "it doesn't work" or equivilent isn't helpful. How doesn't work? It doesn't run at all? It pops up an error message? People can't connect? There isn't a black art to running a server, although it does require a certain level of networking understanding. You say you've read over the "instructions".
